Employee of the Month: Zipporah Muchoki

1. What is your role at AB Entheos, and how does your work make a difference?

I lead the Research, Development and Advisory pillar at AB Enthoes. Over the last decade, AB has grown and expanded its operations to other core areas but at the heart of AB is the RDA department. The arm through which key insights that inform development is drawn.

2. What has been your most memorable moment or achievement at AB Entheos?

Being part of the core team that built the novel Human Wildlife Conflict Insurance solution from scratch to see it roll out not only in Kenya but other African countries is unmatched.I love innovation, I look forward to being part of more unique solutions.

3. If you had to describe AB Entheos in three words, what would they be and why? Authentic, impactful and Resilient!

All the work at AB stems from an authentic desire to solve real needs among low income communities which in turn builds their financial resilience. 

4. If you could swap jobs with anyone at AB Entheos for a day, who would it be and what would you hope to learn?

The Managing Director, Barbara, I admire her adept management of numerous responsibilities across varied domains, which she handles with apparent ease. She exhibits a composed and serious demeanor in her leadership.

5. Which is the best piece of career or life advice have you ever received? 

Nothing is permanent. It gives hope during trying times and challenges the status quo in moments when you are tempted to settle.

6. What’s something that brings you joy? A hobby, a hidden talent, and a fun fact about your life?

Spending time with loved ones over a delicious meal.

7. If you could have any superpower (or be something entirely different in another life), what would it be and why?

I would be an eagle. I admire its strength, excellence, and resilience
